The Art of Making Gnocchi

Join us from your own kitchen as we learn the art of making beautiful homemade gnocchi together. While our kitchen benches may be miles apart, sharing smiles, laughter and friendly faces through the screen has a wonderful way of lifting spirits, bringing joy, and strengthening connection.

We will join Pasta Journey for a live online class and learn the art of making perfect, fluffy, and soft gnocchi!This step-by-step virtual class is designed for beginners and will guide you in combining flour with the right type of potatoes to create silky gnocchi pillows.

During the class, you'll prepare crispy gnocchi with butter and sage. We will reveal all the secrets to making and storing gnocchi, so after this class, you may never want to buy store-bought gnocchi again!

Thanks to the generous support of DMFS, Solid Rock is able to cover the full cost of this event for Current serving members/families. For our Former serving/Reservist Famileis and Friends of Solid ROck Ministry, the committee welcomes you to attend at a reduced cost of $30. There will be additional costs involved with supplying ingredients. 

As places are limited, we kindly ask that if you are no longer able to attend, you let us know as soon as possible so your place can be offered to someone else in the community.

Each ticket allows for two individuals to participate on screen. You’re welcome to cook alongside a partner, a child (aged 5+), or even invite a friend over to join in the fun.

Please note: if a child is participating, an adult must be present for the duration of the activity.

What you’ll need:

• Wooden gnocchi board

• Bench scraper or sharp knife

• Potato ricer or masher

• Ingredients (a full recipe list will be sent closer to the date)
