Family Camp - 2026
About this event
This is our pilot Family Camping weekend for families who enjoy camping and would love to be part of what we hope will be the first of many Solid Rock Ministry Family Camps.
Our friends, Steve and Cath, have generously offered their rustic-style campground in Wee Jasper—just 1hr 45 minute drive from Canberra—for Solid Rock families to come together and enjoy a weekend of connection, rest, and outdoor fun.
When: 5:00pm, August 21st – 2:00pm, August 23rd
There are two accommodation options available:
• Self-camping, with access to toilets and showers (Small cost involved for utilities)
• Ensuite dorm-style rooms of shared living space with fireplace (limited availability) cost involved & BYO additional Linen to your needs (The beds have Sheets/Doonas on them).
The campground includes a communal camp kitchen, campfire space, bushwalking tracks, and plenty of open space to explore.
Sausage Sizzle dinner provided on the Friday night.
Self catering for the rest of the weekend
Planned Activities will include Saturday Night Campfire, Kids Scavenger Hunt, Low ropes Family challenge and a Field service on Sunday Morning.
There is potential for high ropes activities (additional cost applies for the high ropes).
