Join us for a casual BYO dinner at the Solid Rock Community Space.  Bring your own from home or grab something from the many restuarants close by and take the chance to connect with friends or make some new ones over a meal. All Ladies from the Canberra region are welcome to attend. Although not essential to grab a ticket, it does help with planning:)  Thank you

Join us as we kick off Term 2 with a relaxed morning tea and a fun, hands-on activity! ☕🍪 After the Easter break, it will be a lovely chance to reconnect, catch up with one another, and enjoy some creative time together — especially for those who may have children at home due to the pupil-free day. Together we’ll be making cookie dough! Solid Rock will provide all the ingredients for a basic cookie dough, and each family can choose their favourite mix-ins to personalise their own batch. You can then take your dough home ready to pop in the freezer for another day, or bake it fresh when you get home.    

Do you love baking? Would you like to bless others with your skills in the kitchen? Solid Rock Minitsry is hosting Families of Veterans Guild on Saturday the 21st March 2026 in SR community Space, Weston Creek. We are seeking volunteers to provide a baked item that we can serve for afternoon tea. We only need two baked items so select whether you are willing to do Gluten Free or standard. We ask that you provide a list of ingredients with the baked item. A member of our team will coordinate pick up or drop off details with you a few days prior to the event.   Any questions please email coordinator@solidrockministry.org.au

Park Facilities - small bike track , Splash Pad if weather is good, large grass area ( Solid rock will bring activities) BYO: Morning Tea and Pick up coffee on the way. We’ve chosen a time that we hope will suit most of our community. Join us from your own kitchen as we learn the art of making beautiful homemade gnocchi together. While our kitchen benches may be miles apart, sharing smiles, laughter and friendly faces through the screen has a wonderful way of lifting spirits, bringing joy, and strengthening connection. We will join Pasta Journey for a live online class and learn the art of making perfect, fluffy, and soft gnocchi!This step-by-step virtual class is designed for beginners and will guide you in combining flour with the right type of potatoes to create silky gnocchi pillows. During the class, you'll prepare crispy gnocchi with butter and sage. We will reveal all the secrets to making and storing gnocchi, so after this class, you may never want to buy store-bought gnocchi again! Thanks to the generous support of DMFS, Solid Rock is able to cover the full cost of this event for Current serving members/families. For our Former serving/Reservist Famileis and Friends of Solid ROck Ministry, the committee welcomes you to attend at a reduced cost of $30. There will be additional costs involved with supplying ingredients.  As places are limited, we kindly ask that if you are no longer able to attend, you let us know as soon as possible so your place can be offered to someone else in the community. Each ticket allows for two individuals to participate on screen. You’re welcome to cook alongside a partner, a child (aged 5+), or even invite a friend over to join in the fun. Please note: if a child is participating, an adult must be present for the duration of the activity.
